IMBeR（Integrated Marine Biosphere Research）是专注于海洋生物圈研究的国际科学计划，致力于全球变化影响下海洋的可持续发展。IMBeR设有两个国际项目办公室：IMBeR国际项目办公室-中国（IPO-China）与IMBeR国际项目办公室-加拿大(IPO-Canada)。IPO-China位于华东师范大学河口海岸学国家重点实验室。IPO-China与IPO-Canada分担行政职责、共同负责协调IMBeR的学术活动。此外，IPO-China还负责促进IMBeR在亚太、中东和非洲地区的学术研究活动。我们正在寻找一位富有热情、积极主动的项目干事加入团队。
# t; d2 y* {3 ^; q' VThe Integrated Marine Biosphere Research (IMBeR) project is an international research initiative focused on marine biosphere research working towards sustainable oceans at a time of global change. IMBeR has two International Project Offices: IPO-China and IPO-Canada. IPO-China is stationed at the State Key Laboratory of Estuarine and Coastal Research, ECNU, Shanghai, China. IPO-China shares administrative responsibilities with IPO-Canada to administer IMBeR activities. In addition, IPO-China promotes IMBeR scientific research activities in the Asia-Pacific, Middle East, and African regions. IMBeR and ECNU are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Project Officer.

5 O, p6 l" L4 ?6 M4 R岗位职责（Job Responsibilities）
1. 负责IMBeR研究项目和文献数据库的数据管理与优化、搭建用户数据库；
  e3 N: Q' ]5 E2 }. z* A6 i2. 协助IMBeR活动信息数据（例如通过会议和暑期班的注册表、问卷调查等获取的数据）的标准化采集和管理；
3. 协助收集、分析和展示可以衡量或记录IMBeR更广泛影响力的数据；
) q" ?% x# }: t; ~# W4. 协助IMBeR国际项目办公室（中国）战略主任和副主任组织协调国际会议，包括会议宣传、会务安排、准备会议报告等交付内容；
3 W  O, o' C" b$ Q; v5 \, z( h5. 协助编辑IMBeR宣传资料，例如简报、海报、演示文稿、宣传册、短视频等；
6. 协助国际项目办公室（中国），与国际项目办公室（加拿大）合作，为IMBeR科学指导委员会提供行政与后勤支持。
5 c+ i5 n; S' l  ^, ]$ D1. Contributing to assessing and streamlining the data flow from IMBeR research projects and the publication database to users.
6 k. @  b) `- @/ ~2.Assisting with the standardization of collection and management of data from IMBeR’s activities (e.g., through registration forms for conferences and summer schools, and through post-event surveys).
3. Assisting with the collection, analysis, and presentation of data that can measure the broader impact of IMBeR.
4. Assisting the Strategy Director and Deputy Director of the IPO-China with organization and coordination of international conferences and meetings, including meeting promotion, logistical arrangements, preparing meeting reports and deliverables.
9 N- i' \. K2 Q# X& ]5. Assisting with the development of IMBeR communication tools (e.g., newsletters, posters, presentations, brochures, short videos, etc.).
6. Assisting the IPO-China in cooperation with the IPO-Canada to provide logistical and administrative support for the IMBeR Scientific Steering Committee.
任职要求（Required Qualifinzations）
2 O* I; _- z& D+ J  q5 w9 z1. 具有海洋科学、地理学等相关专业博士学位，有国际化和多元文化环境下的学习或工作经验；
8 i% k: h$ Q6 A. F2. 掌握数据管理软件，包括GIS、网络服务和数据标准；
' D/ q6 [* Z8 E3. 具有出色的中英文书面和口语表达能力（多数为英文工作环境）；
4. 具有优秀的沟通和人际交往能力：能够有效地对内对外汇报工作进展与问题；能够辅助线上会议；
6 @& D% ]- Q/ R) o5. 具有出色的组织能力和问题解决能力，能够同时处理多项任务，按时完成交办的工作。
1. Ph.D. degree in marine science, geography, or related field, and experience studying or working in international and multicultural environments.
  t4 C. h; U  p" a* S+ H2. Knowledge of data management software, including GIS, webservices and data standards.
3. Excellent command of English and Chinese, both spoken and written (mostly working in an English-speaking environment).
* J- \9 ~+ c6 Q1 t2 p: e0 x9 h4. Good communication skills: ability to report on progress and issues in an effective manner internally and externally; ability to facilitate virtual meetings.
5. Excellent organizational skills and problem-solving ability with a capacity to multitask, deliver on allocated tasks, and meet deadlines.
7 d1 d  g3 ?- N) e优先考虑对象（Preferred Qualifications）
1. 有兴趣使用开源传感器和软件（例如智能手机）设计简便的、低成本的海洋（生物）观测工具；
2. 具有数据和/或数据库管理及数据迁移经验；
3. 熟悉制作编排软件，如：Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Corel VideoStudio等；

1. Willingness to devise simple low-cost ocean (organism) observing tools using open source sensors and software (e.g., smart-phone).

5 l. O$ ]) Y- }+ z' a2. Experience in data and/or database administration as well as data migration;
$ w1 J2 q3 M7 A+ d; q, C4 Y0 ]6 `3. Knowledge of illustrative and editing software (e.g., Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Corel VideoStudio).
4. Previous experience in academic event planning and coordination.
薪资待遇
( S( U* x! _$ Y本次招聘岗位纳入学校事业编制管理，聘用人员将按照学校有关规定办理聘用手续，初次聘期为一年；年薪为15至20万元人民币，具体视个人能力和资历而定；按照学校和上海市规定，享受学校提供的其他福利保障。如为应届毕业生，应在2023年8月1日前获得博士学历与学位。
The position is initially for one year, and the successful candidate will sign the contract of employment with ECNU. The salary will be around 150,000-200,000 in CNY per year, depending on the relevant skills, knowledge, and experience that the candidate brings to the role. In addition, medical insurance and other welfare benefits are provided in accordance with ECNU regulations and Shanghai local policy. Applicants in the final year of their PhD, need to graduate by 1 August 2023 to qualify for consideration.
